We find Hugs stood by the garden gate with big sack of mail next to him, with the words 'mitten mail' written on it. Fish comes in with his trolley

Hugs: you know we get lots of mail from people our there who like the visits to mitten land, well all I can say is, 'you're welcome'

It's great to know that you can have a positive effect on someone or thing by doing very little. And of course if you fancy sending in your drawing of your favourite mitten please do so, the finest ones we will put on the washing line for all to see

Minnie and Winnie enter, get very excited as audience might be watching, they try to out do each other with their ‘hello's’
Minnie: well, hi di diddley diddley dee u diddley doo doo
Winnie: well, hi die diddle die high die diddle die diddley dee dee....
Winnie: cutting Minnie short, well it's a pleasure to see u all again
Minnie: it surely is
Winnie: seeing Fish she screams
Minnie: oh u silly so and so, that's Fish, (slowly to her like she is a bit dim) he friend

All the Mittens start to get the garden ready for a party, banners and all things lovely, today we will be unveiling a new invention by Fish

Hugs: I’ve been reading through your letters and it seems to me that you are a lovely bunch of Mitten lovers out there, but one thing is clear, you need more hugs and kisses

Stoned Crab: what do the letters say, what words, what wisdom, what sparks of energy and light? who are they out there?

Ruby Wise: I know I am, one day I would like a baby, I hope I would make a good mother
Hugs: I am sure as convinced as I could be that you will be

Minnie: I would like a brand new motor scooter, in red
Winnie: and I would like one in blue
High Tea: I would like the prefect cup of tea and a lovely cupcake

Zen: I would like to try and make you happy with whom you are, (shouting) put the ship into relationSHIP!
Zed: I want everyone to see the dancing garden at night

All Mittens smile, ‘that crazy Zed’, ‘he is one crazy dude’, ‘the dancing garden!’

Stella, slowly walks over to High Tea with Fish, Fish signs, Stella speaks for Fish

Stella: I made this for you, to give you more time to make your cupcakes, they are so beautiful and special, and the best in the known universe, we all love you and your cupcakes, and want you to be happy

High Tea, dabs his eyes with his frilly apron
High tea: thank you Fish

Hugs: hugs all round

All Mittens hugs each other, reprise of the song as they all leave the garden leaving High tea with the drinks machine
